Executive Committee

2010 Golden South Executive Committee Golden South is led by this dedicated group of volunteers, who selflessly donate their time and talents for the success of this charitable event.

Our committee is comprised of Golden South hall of fame award recipients, former Golden South participants, coaches from some of the top Central Florida high school track &field programs, a high school sports reporter from the Orlando Sentinel, specialists from the USA National Training Center, coaches of Olympic athletes and also includes experts in the area of officiating and electronic timing and scoring.

This diverse group collaborates year round to ensure the Golden South competition continues to produce a first class meet which simultaneously raises significant fundraising dollars for the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.
